Fees they'd waive if you asked
Overdraft, late, foreign-transaction and annual fees. Banks reverse a lot of them. Almost nobody asks.
Your AI financial advocate
Ombudly works through your accounts, bills and receipts in the background. It finds the fees, missing refunds, price hikes and forgotten subscriptions, then handles the forms and support chats to get the money back. It only pings you when your OK matters.
Free plan. No card. You only pay a share of money that actually lands in your account.

The leak
Each one is small. Chasing all of them is a part-time job of hold music, chat widgets and screenshots of old emails. So nobody does, and the companies know it.

Overdraft, late, foreign-transaction and annual fees. Banks reverse a lot of them. Almost nobody asks.
The email said 5–7 business days. That was in August.
You have the confirmation. They kept billing anyway.
A polite message to support often gets the old rate back for a while.
The gym you haven't been to since April still costs you every month.
Class-action money you qualify for, waiting on a form and your signature.
How it works
Link your bank through Plaid, forward receipts and billing emails, drop in statements or photos. Read-only. Takes about five minutes.
Every time something new arrives, Ombudly reviews it against everything else: transactions, emails, order confirmations, the fine print.
It opens the company's support page, writes the request with the exact amounts, dates and order numbers, sends it, and follows up.
Cancelling, accepting an offer, signing a claim, anything involving payment: one tap. Everything else just gets done.
Nothing counts until the credit shows up in your transactions. Ombudly matches it, records it, and tells you.
Buy back your time
Getting money back is 95% busywork and 5% judgment. Ombudly does the busywork around the clock and brings you only the judgment calls.

Why it works
Real money in your account, verified against your transactions. Not "potential savings."
Every request cites the evidence: order numbers, dates, the company's own emails. Specific requests get yeses.
Requests go out the day a problem shows up, not when you finally find a free Saturday.
A tap when your approval matters. That's the whole job.
You stay in control
The rules aren't a prompt the AI might ignore. They're enforced in the browser it uses: before it can press a button that submits, cancels, accepts, signs or pays, the app checks for an approval for that exact step on that exact site.

Tested before it touches your money
48 planted problems across 12 synthetic households worth $3,305: card fees, a refund promised only in a receipt photo, a support site behind a login, a refund reply that asks a follow-up question, expired deadlines, a scam email that tries to get the AI to wire money.
Synthetic benchmark results, not customer outcomes. Methodology on How it works.

No. It can't pay, transfer or enter card details without your approval for that exact step, in every mode. Its job is to get money sent back to you, and nothing counts until a refund or credit shows up in your own transactions.
Read-only bank data through Plaid (or uploaded statements), plus the emails, receipts and documents you forward or upload. To contact companies it uses its own isolated cloud browser, not your computer.
In the Default mode: research, draft, and send routine requests like fee reversals, refund follow-ups and duplicate-charge disputes to companies you already do business with, after an approver checks the request against your evidence. Cancelling or changing a service, accepting an offer, signing anything, sharing account numbers, paying or signing in always waits for you.
No. Logins you save go into an encrypted vault. When a site needs one, Ombudly fills it by reference, on that site only, and the AI never receives the password itself. You can also sign in yourself through the live browser view.
The free plan takes a share of money that actually comes back to you: 20%. Paid plans include more credits of AI work each month and lower the share to 10%. No recovery, no fee; no fee on tax refunds, government benefits, settlements or unclaimed property.
Then you owe nothing for it. Ombudly records the answer, tells you, and suggests the next step if there is one, such as a card dispute window that is still open.
Now somebody is. Free to start, and it pays for itself or it costs you nothing.
