For agents
Your AI agent, with your financial advocate's tools.
Everything the Ombudly app can do is available over MCP: your transactions and documents, the leads, saved work, follow-ups, the isolated browser workspace with the simulated or real company sites, the vault (by reference), and the approval inbox. Your agent works under the same rules as ours.
1. Create an agent token
In the app, open Settings → Connect an agent and create a token. Choose Read only or Read and act. The token is shown once; store it like a password. You can revoke it at any time.
2. Connect

Streamable HTTP at https://ombudly.com/mcp with Authorization: Bearer <token>. JSON-RPC initialize, tools/list and tools/call.
3. Ask it something
"Use Ombudly to review my household: read any new emails and documents, check the leads, and propose or submit whatever my permissions allow. Call review_status before you finish."
What your agent can and can't do
| Can | Can't |
|---|---|
| Read records, documents, leads, approvals and activity | Approve its own proposals |
| Save work, schedule follow-ups, record results (read and act) | Change your permission mode or rules |
| Use the browser workspace; propose submits, cancels and payments | Click a gated button without an approved proposal |
| Use vault logins by reference on their own sites | Read a password, card or identity number |
