Affiliate Program Rules

These are the operating rules for Ombudly's affiliate program. They describe the version you accept in the app. General service agreements separately marked draft remain subject to legal review. Participation requires approval; applying or reading this page does not approve a campaign or promise income.

1. Apply before promoting

Apply through Invite & earn in your account with your display name, website or channel, and promotion plan. Accept these rules and the brand guidelines. We review applications; only an approved affiliate may use a commission link or identify as an Ombudly affiliate. Approval does not authorize every advertising channel or make you our employee, representative, adviser or support provider.

Use accurate information and an account you control. No self-referrals, related duplicate households, purchased accounts, manufactured payments, impersonation, spam or misleading recommendations. Your audience must choose to visit, accept an invitation and subscribe without pressure.

2. Attribution is a choice

An invitation can be accepted for 30 days. The visitor must explicitly select Accept invitation before an attribution cookie is stored. The first active, unexpired invitation accepted in that browser is retained across other links. Before it is claimed, the visitor can forget it or decline participation.

A new app account must claim the invitation within 24 hours of account creation and before billing begins. Once claimed, the customer has one immutable attribution across affiliate and referral programs. No retroactive reassignment, commission stacking or simultaneous referral-credit reward. A click or a cookie alone never earns commission.

3. The 25% share and 12-month window

An approved affiliate earns 25% of eligible collected subscription revenue for an attributed customer, during the 12 calendar months beginning with that customer's first paid subscription. The end of that window is exclusive. The first collected payment starts it even when that payment is below $10. Cancellations, unpaid periods, pauses and plan changes do not restart or extend it.

Eligible revenue is USD subscription revenue actually collected for registered Ombudly subscription prices, after taxes, refunds, credit notes and chargebacks. We do not deduct payment-processing fees or model-provider costs. Free usage, trial value, referral credits, recovered customer money, recovery fees and unrelated payments are excluded. The customer must make a genuine payment; unsupported or inconsistent payment evidence is held for review.

Commission is calculated per invoice and rounded down to whole cents. For example, $29 of eligible revenue earns $7.25; $99 earns $24.75. No sale, recovery or income level is guaranteed. While eligible paid checkout is unavailable, enrollment and attribution may be prepared but no commission is created by a signup or link visit.

4. Holds, reviews and payouts

Commission stays pending for at least 30 days after the qualifying payment. Refunds, disputes, fraud concerns or incomplete evidence may prevent release. Your dashboard distinguishes pending, available for review, adjustments and amounts recorded as paid. Available is not a completed payout.

Payouts are manually arranged in USD when at least $50 is available and payee, payment and applicable tax checks are complete. There is no automatic bank transfer or guaranteed payout date. A payout is marked paid only when the operator records an actual external payment. Do not send full tax identifiers, bank credentials or identity documents to an ordinary support email; any required checks must use an agreed secure process.

Refunds, credit notes and chargebacks reduce eligible revenue and commission, including after the hold or a payout. Negative adjustments offset future earnings; we do not automatically debit your bank account. You remain responsible for applicable taxes on your earnings.

5. Responsible promotion is a condition

Follow the brand guidelines, including prominent compensation disclosure, accurate claims, approved assets and restrictions on paid advertising, email and sensitive audiences. Disclose the relationship even when a platform also adds its own sponsorship label. Do not buy Ombudly-branded search traffic, impersonating domains or coupon placements, or place our links through redirects, browser extensions, forced clicks or hidden frames.

We may review placements, request corrections, suspend links or end participation for abuse or a rule violation. Fraudulent or ineligible activity does not earn commission. A compliance review may hold affected amounts; it does not turn an unverified balance into a paid balance. Questions or a disputed calculation should go to partners@ombudly.com with the relevant ledger reference, not customer financial records.

6. Data and changes

Affiliates see their own totals and commission ledger amounts and dates. They do not receive invited customers' identities, email addresses, financial records, documents, cases or credentials. Do not collect those records for us or offer account support in our name. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice.

The accepted rules and brand-policy versions are recorded with an application. Material future program changes must be published with a new version; do not assume a future rate or eligibility rule from an old screenshot. Ending promotion stops new introductions; already attributed payments remain subject to their accepted eligibility rules, the 12-month limit, holds and reversals.
