Referral Credit Rules

These rules describe Ombudly's earned referral credits. An account signup alone does not earn credits. Both people can earn 100 hosted-work credits after a qualifying subscription payment and a 30-day hold. The general service agreements separately marked draft remain subject to legal review.

1. Who can participate

Use your own signed-in account and accept this version of the referral rules in Invite & earn. Share your personal invitation link with a genuine new customer. Do not refer yourself, another account in your household, purchased accounts or people through unsolicited mass messages. Say plainly that you may both earn credits.

We do not upload your contacts or send invitations for you. Share the link yourself with someone who wants the recommendation. Do not post financial records, account identifiers or a friend's personal information with an invitation.

2. Accepting and claiming an invitation

The visitor explicitly chooses Accept invitation before a first-party attribution cookie is stored. An accepted invitation lasts up to 30 days. The first active invitation remains in place when other links are visited; before claiming, the visitor can decline or forget it.

The friend must claim it within 24 hours of creating a new app account and before billing begins. Existing app accounts do not qualify. Once claimed, attribution cannot be reassigned. Only one affiliate or referral invitation may be attributed to a customer, and the two programs do not stack.

3. When 100 credits unlock

The friend's first qualifying USD subscription invoice must contain at least $10 in net collected subscription revenue, after tax. It must be for a registered Ombudly subscription price, paid with supported payment evidence, and have no refund or dispute. Free plans, trial value, taxes, recovery proceeds, recovery fees and credits are not qualifying payments.

After the payment survives a 30-day hold and eligibility checks, the inviter and friend each receive 100 hosted-work credits. One payment customer and card cannot be reused across households to earn rewards, and the inviter's own payment card cannot fund a self-referral. Missing or unsupported evidence goes to review, not automatic credit issuance. No referral credit is earned while paid billing is unavailable merely by joining or accepting an invitation.

At most ten invitations per inviter may earn rewards in one UTC calendar year, counted when credits are first awarded after the hold. Reversed rewards still consume a slot; invitations blocked by the annual cap do not roll into a later year. This is a cap on rewarded invitations, not a promise that every invitation qualifies. The dashboard shows your linked-account count, rewarded invitations this year, available bonus credits and recent earned or reversed entries without identifying your friends.

4. What credits can do

One credit represents one cent of metered hosted AI-work capacity, so 100 credits provide $1 of that capacity. Credits are not cash, a withdrawable balance, a subscription discount, an interest-bearing account, a recovery payment or a transferable financial instrument. The amount of work they fund depends on the model and task. They do not guarantee a successful recovery or a particular result.

Earned bonus credits do not expire while your account is open. They are spent after your plan's included allowance, carry over independently of monthly plan renewals, and do not change your plan or subscription price. They cannot be sold, transferred or redeemed for cash. Closing an account ends access to its unused capacity.

5. Reversals and abuse

A later refund, credit note, chargeback or discovered ineligibility reverses the related rewards for both people. A refunded qualifying invoice cannot be replaced with a later invoice to earn the reward again. Unused bonus credits are reduced first; any part already spent offsets future bonus rewards. A reversal does not create a cash debt and does not reduce the ordinary allowance included in your plan.

We may hold suspicious activity for review and prevent duplicate or manufactured rewards. Do not create fake accounts, manipulate payment evidence, pay strangers to join, use stolen cards, or misrepresent the reward. Report a disputed reward to support@ombudly.com with its ledger reference. Do not send someone else's bank records or card details.

6. Privacy and versions

Invitation storage and your choices are described in the Cookie Notice. Program processing and records are described in the Privacy Policy. We record the rules version accepted when you enroll. Material changes require a new published version; existing rewards remain subject to their eligibility checks and reversals.

For public promotion, follow the brand guidelines. Creators seeking cash commission should apply to the separate affiliate program.
